Hamburg, Germany – 14 April 2026 Today at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, TCI Aircraft Interiors announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dolby Laboratories (NYSE: DLB), marking the start of exploratory discussions around the potential use of Dolby Atmos® and Dolby Vision® in future in-flight entertainment (IFE) environments. The collaboration will explore how Next-Generation audio and visual technologies could elevate the passenger entertainment experience on board.

The MoU reflects a shared interest in evaluating how next‑generation audio and visual technologies could enhance the passenger entertainment experience on board aircraft. Through this non‑binding agreement, TCI and Dolby will explore technical and commercial considerations related to immersive sound and high‑dynamic‑range video for future IFE solutions, with a particular focus on TCI’s "Cornea" In‑Flight Entertainment ecosystem.

Elevating the Digital Cabin with Cornea

TCI’s Cornea system is designed to be the "Architect of the Digital Cabin," offering a versatile and scalable platform that seamlessly integrates into modern aircraft environments. By exploring the integration of Dolby’s world‑class HDR and spatial audio technologies, TCI aims to further enhance Cornea’s capabilities, which already include:

● A seamless, user‑centric interface designed for intuitive navigation

● High‑performance hardware capable of supporting high‑definition content and complex digital services

● A flexible architecture that allows airlines to customize the passenger journey and digital touchpoints.
